Fall 2026 planning has begun

  • Career Center will be hosting their STEM job fair on Sept. 4th.
  • Dept. of Electrical & Computer Engineering will be hosting their job fair on Oct. 21st in the EPIC Building, so space is limited. Two options for registration.
  • NEW this fall, Thirsty Thursdays, students are thirsty for knowledge, not beer, so we are highlighting a variety of different companies and industries every Thursdays in October. Virtual and in-person opportunities are available at various times. (Typically lunch hour and late afternoon/early evening) in our EPIC or Duke Centennial Hall Buildings.   • The Civil & Environmental Dept. will host their job fair in early November (4th and 5th) space is limited. To learn more and register, visit their event site
  • Mock Interviews for our Professional Development course (juniors/seniors) will be held virtually and in-person Friday, Nov. 6th. Seeking employers for aa virtual schedule and few in-person slots are available. Open to all interested in helping our students gain some interviewing experience. If your company is interested in learning more, please reach out to Linda Thurman
  • The Biomedical Engineering Student Organization is planning a mini-job fair this fall, please reach out to Linda Thurman for more details.

Spring 2026 highlights

  • Congrats to our graduate and best wishes to all of them! 405 bachelor’s degrees from the William States Lee College of Engineering!!
  • Thanks to American Airlines who will be hosting a half a dozen of our EE and ME students this Wed. 4/15 to learn more about their amazing co-op program.
  • Women’s Leadership Speaker Series – Building a Career that Wins | April 15th Thanks to Carolina Ascent FC for their support for this top of line panel discussion! 3:00-5:00 pm Popp Martin Student Union Amazing women doing amazing things inspiring our amazing women!
  • We welcome several companies who are seeking students for internships and full-time jobs this month!

    -Thanks to our valued industry partner Nanotechnology for providing lunch and sharing their opportunities with our EE students

    – MDI is a control systems integrator seeking a wide variety of STEM majors. They held a student session for interested students.  They are seeking full-time applicants.
  • Excited to have had Daimler Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. here on campus-Friday the 13th. Sharing their awesome job opportunities with our students!
  • E-Week was celebrated February 23-27 – it was a perfect way our 2/27 Mock Interview Day Event –thanks to those employers who participated-in person and virtually! (Dates for Fall are Nov. 6th and Spring are Feb 19, 2027)
  • So excited to have hosted some stellar Mechanical Engineering companies as they engaged with our largest department (MEGR), on Jan. 28th in DCH. Our first ever formal employer-student for this dept.
